We define ‘processing personal details’ as: collecting, recording, arranging, saving, updating, changing, requesting, consulting, using, providing by distributing, spreading or any other form of making available, converting, connecting, furthermore blocking, deleting or destroying your personal information

We use your personal information to ensure the quickest and easiest possible execution of our services; in order for you to be able to bid on domains, sell domains or to buy domains and in order for us to make sure that the domain is delivered to you or the client. Furthermore, we are using your personal information to make contact with you in order for us to be able to keep you updated about the alteration of our services or products. Collecting this information is necessary for the fulfillment of the agreement between you and us. If you do not want to share this information with us, then we can not (fully) fulfill the agreement.

In addition, we use your data to contact you about changes to our services or products. As far as the fulfillment of the agreement, this is a necessary to progress. When it comes to informing you about news, it will be done via the newsletter. You can register and unsubscribe at any time for this.

Which personal details do we process? 

The personal details that we process when creating an account for buying and/or selling domains are:

  • First- and last name
  • Address details
  • Country and language
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • IP-address
  • Bank account number

Who are processing my personal details?

CatchTiger processes the details internally and makes use of third-party services. These third-parties are people or organisations that we assign to process personal details, for instance to: register domain names, send invoices, process payments and to host the website. When requested, we will provide you with a list with the names of the third-parties that we use. Based on this list and valid reasons, objections can be lodged against using said third parties. When this situation (or any situation regarding similar circumstances) arises; we will open a discussion to work towards an acceptable solution.    

Where do we save your personal details? 

We process personal details within the European Economic Area (EEA). Some of our processors could save information outside the EEA, whenever the legal conditions are applied.    

Storage period

Personal data that we collect will be kept for the duration of the agreement.

How do we protect your personal details?

We have established fitting technical and organisational measure to Protect your personal details. These measures have been chosen based on the available technology, the cost of executing them, the type of personal details we process for you and the attached risks. We strive towards the full compliance of the demands stated in article 32 of the GDPR. For instance, our website utilizes a SSL certificate and we make us of a firewall to prevent misuse.

We realize that technology and the demand of security is constantly changing and developing. Therefore, we are constantly making an effort to evaluate the taken measures based on this article and to improve, supplement and fortify them whenever it is needed.

We vouch all our employees to uphold this secrecy. This regard employees of all kind; therefore including interns and freelancers.

When we of third-party services we, unconditionally, ensure that this party has agreed (in writing) to the same secrecy that we have agreed upon with you.

Would you like to know exactly which of your personal details we have processed? Then you can send an e-mail to [email protected] with a request to view your information. You will ultimately receive a reply within 4 weeks.

Are your personal details processed incorrectly, incompletely, not for the purposes they were meant or in any other way in which it has occurred in breach with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)? Then you have the right to have your personal details corrected. Correcting entails: improving, supplementing, deleting or blocking your personal details. Furthermore in this situation you have the right to have less personal information processed, the right to invoke your given permission and the right to data portability.  Send your request to [email protected]. You will ultimately receive a reply within 4 weeks. Furthermore, we would like to direct you towards the possibility to file a complaint at the Data Protection Authority.
